TCS of Colombo Plan courses offered by the Central Footwear Training Institute (CFTI), Chennai

Malaysian SPM & PMR certificate holders, who would like to get their skills trained in manufacturing of footwear can now make use of a wonderful opportunity at zero cost.

The following fully sponsored courses by the Govt. of India (GoI) under the Technical Cooperation Scheme of Colombo Plan (TCSCP), are offered by the Central Footwear Training Institute (CFTI), in Chennai:

Three weeks courses:
1) Shoe CAD
2) Process & Product Oriented EDP
3) Quality Control
4) Different Footwear Construction
5) Material Management
6) Product Management
7) Marketing Management

Four weeks course:
8) Shoe Upper Clicking

Six weeks course:
9) Footwear Machine Maintenance

Eight weeks course:
10) Lasting, Making & Finishing

Eligibility:
for course No. 1 to 3 is 10th standard i.e. SPM Certificate holders.
for course No. 4 to 10 is 8th standard i.e. PMR Certificate holders.

Course Start Dates:
Courses from No. 1 to 8 start on the 1st of February & also on 1st of March.
Courses at No. 9 & 10 start only on the 1st of February.

Nomination Dates:
The TCSCP nominations should be submitted 3 weeks before the start of these courses.
